Please be noted that if you wish to travel from JB Sentral to the North direction (eg: Butterworth or Padang Besar direction), you are required to change train in Gemas Train Station. This is because the train service from JB Sentral to Gemas is under the Intercity Train Service (JB Sentral to Tumpat). At Gemas, you are then required to buy another train ticket which is the Electronic Train Service (ETS) to continue travelling to the North direction. In conclusion, you must purchase TWO train ticket, interchange in Gemas Station.
