Before boarding the KTM Intercity Train, kindly ensure that you are in the right platform in any of the station. One of the platform may be heading to the South direction, and the other towards the North direction. If you are unsure which platform to board, kindly refer to the officer-in-charge to assist you while you are waiting in the train station.

From Tumpat to JB Sentral direction
The one and only KTM Intercity Train available from Tumpat, Kelantan to Johor Bahru (also known as JB Sentral), Johor is scheduled at 6.00pm. The estimated time of arrival (ETA) is 11.10am the next day. Thus, the travelling duration is estimated to be between 17 to 18 hours long! This is by far the longest operating train trip ever known.
From JB Sentral to Tumpat direction
For the return trip from JB Sentral back to Tumpat, there is also only one available train, which begins from 7.00pm. The ETS is estimated to be 1.05pm on the next day. Thus, the travelling duration is 18 hours too.
From Gemas to JB Sentral direction
There are 3 trains available from Gemas to JB Sentral, which are 4.15pm, 2.55pm, and 9.00pm with ETA at 8.25am, 6.45pm and 1.10am respectively. The average travelling duration is about 4 to 5 hours.
From JB Sentral to Gemas direction
For the return trip from JB Sentral to Gemas, there are also 3 trains available, which are 10.00am, 4pm and 10.50pm and ETA at 2.25pm, 8.18pm and 3.02am respectively. The average travelling duration is also between 4 to 5 hours.
From Gua Musang to Kuala Lipis direction

From Tumpat to Gua Musang direction
There are2 trains are available from Tumpat to Gua Musang, which starts at 4.20am and 2.00pm, with ETA at 9.59m and 8.30pm respectively. The estimated travelling duration is 6 hours.
From Gua Musang to Tumpat direction
For the return trip from Gua Musang to Tumpat, there are also 2 trains available, which begins at 5.22am and 3.52pm, with ETA at 11.30am and 9.42pm respectively. The estimated travelling duration is the same which is 6 hours.
From Tumpat to Dabong direction
There is only one train available from Tumpat to Dabong, which starts at 10.00am, with ETA at 1.47pm. The estimated travelling duration is 3.5 hours.
From Dabong to Tumpat direction
For the return ticket from Dabong to Tumpat, the train starts at 2.30pm, and arrives at 5.50pm. The estimated travelling duration is the same which is 3.5 hours.
